Where to go For a Pedi?

Lawks! It was so warm on Saturday that I thought I was going to pass out from the heat in town - probably wearing my winter coat didn't help much, to be fair. So that got me thinking about summer clothes, shoes (just bought these and these) and pedicures.

Leighton DennyI don't really go in for pedis that often - I'm a tights kinda gal and rarely bare my legs unless it's really hot or I'm away, but as I wear heels a lot, my feet do get into a bit of a state. So a pedi once a year seems like a bit of a necessary evil. And sure it's not really that evil if you come away with nice pretty painted toes, is it?

Last summer - I say summer, I mean monsoon season - I went to Revive in Milltown for their Rosy Toes Pedicure. €65 gets you a really relaxing treatment in the special pedi lounge at the back of the spa. SATC is on rotation should you so desire, and there are tons of mags to browse through too. While I, er, can't remember the exact specifics now, I can remember that the treatment was mucho relaxing and involved lots of pampering and foot work like a good auld file and removal of a lot of hard skin. And I left be-flip-flopped with shocking pink toes, courtesy of Leighton Denny's fab line.

That's not all you can partake of at Revive though - they also do Eve Lom and Elemis facials, Jim Hatton has a salon in-spa and Boylan and Balfe are on hand for make up courses.

Needless to say, Revive is completely deadly and I am going to make a promise to myself to visit again very very soon!
