Easily my favourite trend of the current season were the neon brights seen on the catwalks at Paul Smith and Jonathan Saunders. I'm mad for colour anyway, so I was thrilled by the amount of it about. And of course, who else does colour like MAC? Ok, they've a few competitors - NARS, Smashbox and Ruby & Millie all do gorgeous colour too (as do the incomparable Shu Uemura, of course), but for sheer variety of finish, and shade, MAC are on the button.
Their colour was evident everywhere and it seemed like they had a hand in the looks at so many shows. And indeed they did - on the MAC site now is a rundown of their four major trends for Autumn Winter - Techno-Colour, Photoshaped, Future Graphic and Taylored.
