Oh looky here what I have for you all to look forward to: incoming in February (I know, I know!) is Bella Bamba, the new addition to Benefit's already really rather good blush/bronze/highlighting roundup.
At €33.50 it'scomparable in price to Dallas, 10, Sugarbomb and my fave, Coralista. But Bella Bamba includes a mirror in the lid which the others don't have and this is billed as a '3d watermelon blush' that has 'the triple dimension of pink'. Pink shimmer throughout gives this a multi-dimensionality to the naked eye, Benefit say, but I say we'll have to actually try it first.
Now, price again. This is a mere stripling of £23.50 in the UK. There is absolutely no justification for a euro price of €33.50 as a result and I really wish Benefit would adjust their pricing so that it is fair and equable. Irish women adore this brand - after the UK, we're the biggest European market for it - so it seems doubly unfair that pricing is so out-of-whack.

I know I talk about cost a lot; but this is a serious concern and one that brands are not yet adequately addressing so I'll keep saying it until - hopefully - something happens.
However, despite the high price, Benefit blushers are actually good value on a cost-per-wear basis. The pan is big and they tend to last for absolutely ages. My much-used Coralista gets almost daily use and is still going very strong indeed, over a year on.
So, as the saying (sorta) goes, if the shade fits, wear it.
