Benefit Instant Beauty Kits: How To Look The Best At Everything Complexion Kits; Lip and Cheek Kits

Benefit Instant Beauty kits

Oh, hello! These cute, kitsch kits from Benefit are some of the best we’ve seen from the brand in a while – they're so lovely that when I clapped eyes on Go Tropicoral, I actually squealed.

Benefit Instant Beauty Lip and Cheek kits

It’s one of three lip and cheek kits with a lip and cheek stain, Highbeam highlighter, blusher and matching gloss. With its pretty coral colour palette this one will fly off the shelves here in Ireland – these shades are so, so pretty on Celtic colouring (see this post for more recommendations!). Go Tropicoral comes with a mini Chachatint, High Beam, Coralista blush and matching gloss - most of these have been on my list for aaaaaages.

My one little quibble? I’d love this even harder if it came with Sunbeam or Watt’s Up instead of Highbeam, but hell – I love it plenty just the way it is.  The other two are mighty tempting too - Feelin' Dandy comes with Posietint, High Beam, Dandelion blush and gloss, while Sugarlicious has Benetint, High beam and Sugarbomb.

Launching at the same time are these How To Look The Best At Everything kits which are adorable in their book inspired boxes. They come in light, medium and deep and include a mini-sized version of The Porefessional, Hello Flawless Oxygen Wow foundation, two shades of Boi-ing Concealer, Hello Flawless powder and a brush.

What shades are included? I hear you ask – well the lightest kit comes with shades 01 and 02 of Bo-ing with HFOW in ‘Cheers to me champagne’ and powder in ‘Me vain? Champagne’. That's the medium one in the pic below, with 'I'm so money, honey' foundation and 'I'm cute as a bunny honey' powder.

I can see these being popular with all age-groups but they have a definite back to school/college vibe going on, with the blackboard imagery, book-ish packaging and ‘smart is sexy’ strapline. Smart is sexy? That’s a philosophy we’re more than happy to get behind.

Each of the kits come with a handy little tips and tricks booklet and a good sized mirror. They represent decent value for money, considering the variety of products you get to try out - but as always, they’re even better value in the UK. Both sets are £24.50 across the water and €35 here.
