Reviewed: The new eye palette inspired by an Irish makeup sensation

Winter is traditionally the time that we shy away from a lot of colour but that isn't the case for INGLOT who've decided to buck this season's gothic trend in favour of some bright and vibrant colours.

Their newest offering is the Keilidh Pro Palette (€40), named after one of their top makeup artists here in Ireland. Keilidh Cashell has amassed an impressive 48K+ followers on Instagram thanks to her bold, colourful make-up designs. So, in celebration of the success of one of their own, INGLOT teamed with Keilidh to hand pick the shades and create her very own palette.

The limited edition palette offers up five highly pigmented "Freedom" shadows in tones of pink, peach and purple as well as a matte black because, let's face it, a good black shadow is worth its weight in gold.

Above you can see the five shadows in action. All are matte except for the pink which has a little sparkle to it (perfect for party season!). The peachy shade could easily double up as a blusher too (if you like your makeup to multi-task). Admittedly, brighter shades might not be for everyone, but if you have a flare for the dramatic it should satisfy those colour cravings.

Along with the Keilidh Pro Palette, INGLOT has also just launched the brand new Lash Enhancer mascara. This is one that will appeal to anyone who wants to maximise the look of those little, invisible lashes we all have, without having them look spidery or clumpy.

It's also a great choice for those who like to wear lash extensions as the soft, silicone wand is very gentle on lashes (both real and false) so doesn't pull or drag. The formula is easy to build, doesn't flake and lasts well throughout the day too. Not too shabby for €15!

Are you a fan of a splash of colour come winter? Or do you prefer more muted shades?
