Metro reported yesterday morning that despite Skelatina Jolie's legal attempts to thwart it, there will be a perfume named after her and Brad Pitt's babba, Shiloh, going into production very shortly indeed. Bellasugar has more on the story. The perfume's creator, French woman Symine Salimpour, claims that she created the scent before the Jolie Pitt babby was even a twinkle in Angelina's husband stealing eye, and therefore wasn't seeking to capitalise on the name - Salimpour is Jewish, and in Hebrew, the name Shiloh means 'his gift'.
It seems that the Jolie Pitts got a dose of cop on, (what with it not yet being possible for Hollywood stars to own christian names. Yet) and dropped the suit, allowing Salimpour to proceed with her fragrance plans.
So, we should be able to get our paws on the scent soon, which is apparently a blend of rose, patchouil and cedar. Yurgh, the absolute reverse of the sort of scent I like - but hey, if you like heady scents, keep your nose alert, eh?

Oh, and as a result of the brouhaha, Salimpour has pledged to give 5% of the profits to childrens' charities, which is a nice touch.
