- Plaits
Plaits are the easiest hair dos since the topknot. They come and go out of vogue but this season they're definitely IN. This year, however, your plait should be messy, no tight schoolgirl braids for you, missy! If you need a bit of help controlling your plait, run some hair serum through your locks from the mid-way down before you divide into three. You might also like to give Redken's braid aid a whirl.

As well as lips, plum shades will be donning many the talon this autumn, but we'll be matching our nails to our hands to avoid any clashing which means we will be rocking the mannequin manicure this season.
