Yes it's true. Eileen is looking pretty foxy lately. And you know why? Because Sean Hughes has been looking so gross beside her in Coronation Street.
Honestly, he looks like a slug. Pasty, white, podgy, bad teeth, greasy hair... Oh Sean, used to be you were quite fanciable. What happened? (BTW the picture above makes him look positively gorgeous compared to what he looks like on The Street. I just couldn't find a more realistic match. Perhaps the horror has already been erased from all digital records.)
I know he's playing the whole thing for laughs, but whhhhyy does he have to look so dreadful while he's doing it?
Every time he chases her up the stairs for yet another close encounter my stomach churns.

Beside him Eileen looks radiant. She's positively glowing, lipglossed, bronzed, hair highlighted. Her normal style is frumpy and dowdy to say the least. But the lurve of the yukky Sean has transformed her. Gone are the grey cardigans. In are sunshine coloured tops.
Maybe that's the secret to looking gorgeous! Forget all this other stuff. Get a horrible partner and you're guaranteed to look good. Or at least better anyway.
And we won't even get on to the topic of Liz McDonald and her new look...
