Pic: Gogglebox Ireland will have a new Galway family this week

Gogglebox Ireland is already winning us over with its range of characters from all over the country, and now this Thursday, they are welcoming a family from Galway into the mix.

The Gibbons-Coyle are from Moycullen and consist of Mam Eileen, Dad Chris and daughters Hannah and Ciara. They describe themselves as ‘very dramatic, energetic, honest, liberal and they love to laugh’, and apparently there will be a lot of verbal fighting to get their opinions heard. They also have a dog called 'Buddy'. There's a lot of dogs in these Gogglebox Ireland houses aren't there? Not that that's a bad thing.

Their favourite shows are ‘Friends’, ‘Modern Family’, ‘I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here’ and ‘24 Hours in A&E' while dad Chris secretly watches The Kardashians with his girls, Hannah is a sucker for MTV, and mum Eileen prefers gardening and food shows.

Hanna is a newly qualified primary school teacher, while Ciara has just finished her undergrad in philosophy and psychology in NUIG in Galway

Dad Chris works for the Department of Defence, and mum Eileen teaches drama at the Blue Teapot Theatre Company and also dabbles in playwriting.

Tomorrow night, themselves and the rest of the Gogglebox houses will watch ‘Pulp Fiction’, ‘Body Fixers’ and ‘SAS: Who Dares Wins’.

Gogglebox Ireland airs every Thursday from 9.30pm on TV3.
