River Island is becoming a go-to destination for wedding guest dresses
I smelled freshly cut grass yesterday; Spring is officially on its way. Even though it doesn't quite feel like it yet (how is the temperature still 9 degrees one minute and 3 the next?) we're finally shaking off the shackles of winter. We're putting our woolly jumpers away one by one and by God are we ready to ditch the thermal tights.
Wedding season is right around the corner, too, which means one thing: time for some shopping.
A wedding is a perfect opportunity to get a brand new gúna, and an even better one to get an investment dress that costs a bit of bob. Easier said than done, of course, when you have ten million weddings to attend in one year.
The high street is getting so good and producing occasion worthy dresses that don't cost a terrible amount and River Island has some lovely ones at the moment.

I particularly like this one for a spring wedding. The tie detail is flattering, as is the neckline, and you can wear it with a wide variety of shoe. Once you get tired of it for weddings and Christenings and First Holy Communions, wear it to work, on one of those days when you have to make an effort.
