If the General Election was to be fought and won based on sarky comments, it's fair to say Pat Rabbitte would be the out and out winner, way before polling day. His hatred for Michael McDowell knows no bounds and he wasn't content with accusing him of 'being so far up Bertie's anorak he'd never be able to extricate himself' - oh no. Last night during the first Leaders Debate on RTE's Prime Time programme he accused Mr McDowell of being like 'a menopausal Paris Hilton - an inveterate attention-seeker'. ZING!
