Bourjois 1 Seconde Nail Enamel is bloody brilliant

I'm having a very Bourjois couple of weeks, it seems, between their v.g. new concealer and now their 1 Seconde Nail Enamel, which I stumbled across over the weekend in my sister's beauty stash. Unlike your common-or-garden nail varnishes, the brush of this one is very wide indeedy and curves outwards at the end. The idea of this not-straight-across edge is that the curve mimics the shape of your nail bed for ease of application, while the chunky brush fans out across your nail as pressure is applied so that you can paint each nail with just one stroke. This takes a minute to master, but it's easy to control and actually works really well, leaving a lovely straight edge at the sides of the nail. "1 nail - 1 stroke - 1 second" runs the blurb on the bottle, and that's pretty accurate!

In addition to a fancy brush to foolproof the application process, the varnish itself dries in just 50 seconds flat. My only gripe is that there isn't a huge selection of colours available in this particular range, but sure you can't have everything!
