Gigi Hadid was papped doing her thing in New York yesterday wearing an ensemble that would best suit the fanciest builder around. Jeans and a white tank top are so very summer, but instead of sandals or slides, Gigi's footwear of choice was a big yellow boot. Not exactly a summer shoe (although it would fit right in here), it's a big shoe trend for the coming season. Any It Girl worth her diamonds will be wearing next season's trends now.
It wasn't the only trend Gigi was setting, oh no, it was not. Check out the matching shades to her boots. That might be a thing (how very Gwen Stefani!). And how about that teeny tiny bag? That's sure to be a thing. We'll go as far as the coffee cup for now.
Yes, combat style boots have already made a comeback. But, they'll be on everyone's feet come September, thanks in part to Alexander McQueen, Rodarte, The Row, Dior and Hermès including them in their AW17 shows.
