Funky makeup looks for the bride who wants something a little different

It's okay to be a bit different and daring with your wedding day makeup.

Lots of brides want to be different, but it's hard to choose makeup that will look beautiful with a wedding dress. However, they do exist. These makeup looks are great for brides who would like to wear colour on their eyes instead of the usual natural bridal makeup.

Look One

Orange is probably my favourite eyeshadow colour to wear. It really enhances blue eyes ?

The look above would be amazing on any blue-eyed brides. Orange is the colour opposite to blue on the colour wheel, and as a rule, the opposite colour will most make your eye colour pop. To make the look more wearable, add a brown tone to the orange. The more brown you add, the less vibrant it will be, so you can go as wild or as tame as you like!

Look Two

Next up is purple. This one is especially lovely for brown and green eyes but will work on any eye colour. Purple is a lovely colour to wear because it's soft, so it doesn't take over a picture. The trick is to choose a purple with a grey undertone so that it's not too bright in your photos. You get to wear a bit of colour, but the grey undertone mutes it down enough to make it bride-suitable.

Look Three

Finally, we have a totally different eyeshadow look. This is called a 'spotlight eye'. You could use this to wear the classic bridal colours - but with a difference. The bright shimmery pop of colour is in the centre of the lid, flanked by a matte colour of your choice. You could do this with any colours, but for a bride, matte browns with a gold spotlight would be beautiful.
