Can't quite stump up the cash for some customised goodies along the lines of, say, a pair of Louboutins from Chris' made-to-order atelier? Yeh, me neither, but worry not: Smashbox have you covered for a more budget-friendly personally tailored fix. These lads are mad for intuitive make-up altogether, which is make-up that purports to react to your skin's chemistry to give a colour that's perfect for your own exact skin tone. They've already brought out O-Gloss and O-Plump for lips and O-Glow for cheeks, and now new to the stable is O-Bronze, a customised cheek bronzer. It's coming on counter bang on time for Bronzing Season, because when even the fake tan virgins among us are contemplating pulling a Lily Cole, you know that it's in full swing.
Like all the other O-yokes, O-Bronze contains a goji berry complex and also has little microspheres of bronzer which burst when rubbed onto the skin to release their glow-y goodness and create a unique custom colour to compliment your complexion to perfection.
Now, I'm a fan of O-Gloss, which gives me shocking-but-fabilis fuschia smackers, but I gotta tell ya that I'm a bit dubious about this stuff. It seems to me like "intuitive" lip and blush colours are easier to get right than a bronzer, since there are few people who don't suit a pop of pink but lots of folk whose faces can look muddy (or just plain ol' tangotastically orange!) with the wrong shade of bronzer.
