You need to give yourself a space dedicated to doing your makeup. Choose a spot with natural lighting if you can. Give yourself enough room to spread out your products and place down your brushes.

Whether you like to do your makeup in the bathroom standing up or you have a dressing table specially designated for makeup application, you need space. Clutter is going to make it chaotic. We tend to use so many products when we do our makeup so you need space to lay them out so that you can find things easily.
Then you will need a really good mirror. If you buy cheap it could give you a warped reflection. Also, it needs to be a good height so you don't have to stoop to see yourself. If you can't have natural lighting you could go or one of these mirrors with built-in lights. There are great options for putting on the wall.
