Jools Oliver told the Telegraph at the weekend that she reads all of Jamies emails and checks his text messages.
"Yeah, I'll check his email. I'll check his Twitter. I'll check his phone. Everything seems fine," she said. "He says I'm a jealous girl, but I think I'm fairly laidback, considering."
This would usually send up a huge flare exploding in the night sky about trust issues and control. But Jools says no, not at all and it's quite alright "in the circumstances".
Is it though? She obviously feels that because he's famous and rich he's a target for unscrupulous women and has more on his mind than school dinners. Crucially she doesn't trust him to fend off these advances. Unfortunately we'd no chance to send one of our reporters from Howaya magazine to investigate this further (and also because it's Jamie Oliver we were at a loss to find anyone who actually fancied him).
The Olivers have been guilty of TMI regarding their relationship for ages with Jamie telling the press that although he loved Jools he also regularly despised her. Lovely.
