Kylie and Kendall Jenner upset a lot of influential people with t-shirt designs

Kylie and Kendall Jenner have come under fire from the likes of Sharon Osbourne and the mother of Christopher Wallace (AKA Notorious B.I.G.) for their new t-shirt range.

The new line of t-shirts features Kylie and Kendall's portraits overlaying classic artwork of the likes of Ozzy Osbourne, Notorious B.I.G., Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Metallica and The Doors. The shirts were originally on sale for £125 on their website but have since been removed following the backlash.

Voletta Wallace was the first to call out the pair on social media, writing in an Instagram post that estate of Christopher Wallace was not contacted about using his likeness on their t-shirts.

Wallace called the t-shirts "disrespectful , disgusting, and exploitation at its worst!!!"

Sharon Osbourne took to Twitter to voice her displeasure at the t-shirts, saying the girls hadn't earned the right to be associated with musical icons.

Kendall Jenner posted an apology on her Twitter account last night after the t-shirts had been pulled from retail on their website.

"We are huge fans of their music and it was not our intention to disrespect these cultural icons in anyway." she wrote.

This is of course not the first social media backlash that Kendall has been involved in this year. Back in April, she was called out for the now infamous Pepsi ad that she starred in.

Kendall has not commented publicly about the ad since it was pulled by Pepsi. Kendall was also one of the several influencers that promoted the disastrous Fyre Festival.

Like the Pepsi and Fyre controversies, this misstep is likely to blow over quite quickly. It seems the pair can make as many missteps as they like without the Kardashian/Jenner brand taking any major damage.
