Once again, we have Penneys to thank for a fast fashion fix
October is a funny month. It's cold in the mornings but can get warm(ish) during the day, making it really hard to decide what to wear. There is a way to tackle this sartorial dilemma, however. The answer is, of course, layering. And Penneys.
The formula to autumnal layering is thin layers. A t-shirt, a heavier cardigan, with a denim jacket, perhaps. Or a shirt, v-neck lightweight sweater and an oversized blazer. Or a long-sleave t-shirt under a cute pinafore dress with any jacket you please. This is a simple way to rock transitional style and we've found the perfect dress for the job.
The suede-look dress in tan is going to be your best friend this month. The colour is so very autumn, and it's easy to dress up or down. Wear with anything black, but consider other colours too, like light blue, grey, navy and even dusty pink.
The only downside to the dress is that it is a little short to wear to work. Regardless, we think it's the ideal weekend gúna.
