Fashion loves this Mango jacket (and you can buy it today)

Mango has been around for years, but now - with this jacket and more - it's really starting to shine

It feels like Mango has been around for ages, but in fact, its first physical shop only opened in the year 2000. In Ireland, it doesn't have the same go-to impact as Zara or H&M (come on, Penneys is on a different sphere altogether), but I've got a feeling it will soon be as prevalent. Honestly speaking, I had totally forgotten about it, but it came back on my radar when my friend discovered its truly excellent sale earlier this year, and since then I've been perusing and recommending.

The Spanish brand is finding itself to be a fashion destination for women who want to try trends in a more sophisticated way. It has collaborated with style darling Leandra Medine (of Man Repeller) whose campaign sees her traipsing around New York dressed head to toe in this season's collection. Included was this familiar jacket. Well, familiar if you follow blogger Camille Charrière and fashion week street style on Instagram.

Camille's jacket is by Nanushka, and she wasn't the only one wearing it before anyone else.

The puffer style is big this season, and the boxy shape gives it the 2017 update. The Nanushka puffer is sold out (quelle surprise), but the Mango version is available now - online at least - for half the price.

It kind of reminds me of something a little brother would have worn back in 1992 and I'm ok with that. It's the perfectly cool alternative to the black leather biker that everyone wears all the time. I'll be wearing mine over checked print pants and skirts á la Leandra.
