Movember: Will YOUR Fella/Da/Cousint/Brother be Taking Part?

Movember: Will YOUR Fella/Da/Cousint/Brother be Taking Part?
By Beaut.ie  | Nov 3, 2010

It's November 3rd and that means Movember is in full, moustache-twirling swing. Dedicated to raise prostate cancer awareness and funds, it's a light-hearted way to get men engaged in a serious health issue that really concerns them.

While we get to indulge in all things pink during October for breast cancer awareness month, fellas get to grow gnarly 'staches in November and use their hirsute powers to get sponsorship funds from friends, family and co-workers. This year, Movember Ireland's campaign will benefit Action Prostate Cancer, a programme of The Irish Cancer Society.

The peeps behind Movember want you to gently encourage your nearest and dearest male relatives to get involved in the fundraising efforts by registering on www.movember.com. As an incentive, one of you will bag yourself a Mo Pack to help with the motivation. It contains:

  • Movember Cookbook
  • Kent Movember Edition Moustache Comb
  • Old Spice
  • Dermalogica goodies
  • and a special edition Freshmilk Movember tee
