Inside my makeup bag: Vicki gives us a goo at what she's using right now

Seeing as I'm new to Beaut.ie, I thought a good way for you to get to know me would be to allow you to delve into my make-up bag (a rather lovely Aspinalls of London skull bag). So here are my can't-live-without buys, and these are sure to show you my beauty personality better than I can actually tell you!

First things first though, am a complete eejit and forgot to include eyeliner even though I am addicted to the stuff. However, I will be doing a perfect liner tutorial soon and will show you the many, many wonderful gels, liquids and pencil I use to perfect my flicks.

Clockwise from bottom left:

Clinique All About Eyes Concealer
I don't really buy that undereye concealer needs to be light or luminous to make you look less tired, so I love this yellow toned creamy concealer with a hint of Clinique's undereye cream.

Revlon ColourBurst Lip Butter in Sweet Tart
The perfect day time girly pink. Not too heavy, tastes good and wakes my face up. I'm a pink lippie devotee and also love Revlon's ColourBurst Lipstick in Fuchsia.

L'Oreal Elvive Extraordinary Oil
I always found Moroccan Oil really heavy on my fine hair, but this one is perfect for both a pre-blowdry smoothing effect and a leave-in overnight treatment, plus it's a total bargain at €12.99.

Inglot Stipple Brush
This bad boy buffs any foundation on to my face in record time and makes me look fresh and dewy when I'm feeling anything but. Would never go back to a flat foundation brush now. Read more about stipple brushes.

Benefit Erase Paste
A real winner at camoflage, whether it's a spot, dark circles or a bruise. I sometimes use Erase Paste under my Sally Hansen Airbrush legs (another obsession not included here!) if my pins are in bad shape.

L'Oreal Nude Magique BB
I LOVE this, as it adjusts to your skin tone and just makes my bare face look a little less scary as it provides a bit of coverage and evens out, as well as moisturising. Great for Sunday morning brunch, or under foundation.

MAC Mineralise SkinFinish in Gold Deposit
This is a new find for me and I LOVE IT. I have oily skin, so have never really been a fan of shiny, sheeny products on the cheeks - they just remind me of being sweaty when I like to be matte. But I adore a sweep of this on the cheekbones, neck and decolletage. Avoid using it on nose and forehead though - it's too metallic for those areas!

Smashbox Brown Eyes Palette
I don't know what I did without this palette in my life. Dark, richly pigmented colours specially formulated to enhance brown eyes that blend and smudge beautifully and last for ages. Totally obsessed, and several non-brown eyed pals have tried mine and love it too. They make them for every eye colour though!

Rimmel Professional Eyebrow Pencil
My brows are my life's work, and I've tried a million pencils, powders and markers but always come back to this. Easy to use, blendable and doesn't sweat off. Adore.

Benefit Cha Cha Tint
A gorgeous mango lip and cheek product that gives JUST the right amount of glow for a glow-phobe like me. Makes everyone look instantly better. Have a look at the swatches.

John Frieda Go Blonder Lightening Spray
Not Sun-In for adults, but a really cool product that freshens up my ombre-fied balayage tips when they're looking a bit murky. My dark hair took ages to lift in the hairdressers, but this spray got my ends to the colour I wanted them to be, for only €14.  Read more here

Bourjois Dissolvant Miraculeux
Removes nail varnish in literally a couple of seconds with no muss, fuss or cotton wool.  Lasts ages too. Read the review here.

Victoria's Secret Lip Plumper in Nude
Now I know this one is unfair as you can only get it here via mail order, but everytime someone I know is in the States I force them to get this for me, not for it's lip plumping qualities but because the colour part is THE perfect nude for my complexion, and the non-sticky, colour-rich formula is perfection. J'adore, so check it out if you're heading Stateside - it comes in pink too!

MAC Eyeshadow in Woodwinked
Couldn't live without this shadow. An almost-neutral metallic with a hint of gold, it glides on and works for day or night - wet it for a full-on shiny effect. Use it on my lid and underneath my eyes for definition and a birra glamour. (Read about some of your current favourite Mac eyeshadow shades).

Essence I Heart Extreme Volume
This cheap-as-chips formula is the best one I've tried in 2.5 years of testing every new wand on the market. It is simply FABULOUS. (Read Who makes your favourite mascara and why).

MAC StudioFix Fluid
The answer to every oily girl's prayers, it contains silica to absorb grease, stays on ages and has a matte, medium-coverage finish. I also like No7 Beautifully Matte.  It was the winner in last year's Beaut.ie Awards - have a look at the foundation category.

So there you have it! All that slap along with Ardell Demi Wispies lashes have me looking ready to face the world. But not all at once, mind.

I LOVE make-up and wear copious amounts of it, but all this together and I'd be more painted than all the Kardashians put together.
