The beaut.ie crab (shamlessly modeled on the Capital One Credit Card Crab - kindly, but brooks no nonsense) asked the lovely readers of beaut.ie to send us photos of their makeup bags plus contents, and you've all been replying away.
First up is reader Allison, and she's from the States. So, the beaut.ie crab asks, what's in YOUR makeup bag?
Firstly the crab notes that she has the same makeup bag as Kirstie - and Allison noticed it too. She told us that "this is obviously a very small part of my makeup stash (and lookie, my bag is almost like Kirstie's, except apparently in the US they opted for a dragonfly instead of a butterfly...odd)". Oh those crazy loons at Clinique!
This is Allisons daily touch up sorta stuff that she carries with her at all times. It contains:
- Prescriptives Flawless Skin concealer in Level 1 Cool (the crab likes the packaging a lot)
- MAC blusher in Dame (beaut.ie crab approves - Kirstie has this too) which is often switched out for Dollymix
- Clinique Pink Bamboo lipstick
- Revlon Scarlet Velvet lippie
- Clinique Cranberry Cream Buttershine lipstick
- Rimmel Red Dynamite lip pencil
- Bath and Body Works Warm Vanilla Sugar lip balm (the crab likes the sound of this. A lot)
- No. 7 powder compact - Allison is very excited that Target in the US is stocking Boots things now (the crab is cross that there is no Target here, bah)
- Swiss Army Knife
- ponytail elastics
- bobby pins
- nail file and of course a
- travel toothbrush and toothpaste.

The beaut.ie crab (and the rest of the beaut.ie team) are impressed! This is one organised lady - travel toothpaste and brush! *must write this down and remember for future*... we're less sure what the Swiss Army Knife is for though!
Allison notes that she's forgotten something - "somewhat weirdly I do not have eyeliner with me today, but it's usually Clinique Black Honey cream liner or a Revlon pencil".
Like most of us, this only represents a small portion of her beauty haul - she says, "as for the stuff stashed at home...I organized it this weekend and was frightened by the sheer mass of my collection. 80 some lippies alone...."
Good woman yourself, we say!
