So, did yesterday's Budget make you better off or did it make you poorer? Basically I just wanted to know if my lipgloss purchasing funds will increase. Well, they might a bit. A 1% reduction in the upper tax band will net a few quid a week more for those currently taxed on a portion of their income at 42% - so we're not quite in MAC Lipglass territory. It won't even buy us a Juicytube, but it will get us a No7 gloss. Bah, the Government is determined to keep us in own-brand slap! Rise up ladies! Rise up and fight for your right to pamper!
