The beaut.ie Crab takes a sneaky peek in Red Mum's bag o' beauty

Fellow blogger Red Mum recently sent the crab a pic of her makeup for his perusal. She told us that "Jaysus, it's a bit of a Benefit overload in my make up bag at the minute. I used to have lots of make up but my 15-year-old has massively pilfered it over the last while. So while there is more here and there in our flat this is my essential kit at the moment and the stuff I keep on me all the time so the Young Wan doesn't get her hands on it", and we think this is eminently sensible!

So what has she managed to keep from the Young Wans clutches?

1. Some Kind of Gorgeous, Benefit – this really is wonderful stuff, about to order another as this is nearly done.
2. Curve Hugger, Benefit - people always remark on my eyeshadow when I use this.
3. A dark brown nailpolish for those topups. My mum brought this back from Turkey and it is an amazing nailpolish, if you are careful it lasts a full week. The brand is called Elegant
4. Nice Ride, Benefit, a lip cream trio – I prefer the middle one as you can see. When the middle one is gone, I'll give the rest to the Young Wan
5. Calvin Klein eyeshadow in aubergine, another Beaut.ie recommended site purchase. It's a gorgeous colour but slides to your top lid over an evening, not too nice at all
6. Number 17 eyeshadow in darkness.
7. Rimmel's Magnif'eyes – I hate the brush but it is relatively new so I will plough on with it.
8. Pout's pout plump – I love this, it makes you more aware of your lips due to the minor tingling from it so you, eh, pout.
9. Benefit's Dandelion – A must have, it is wonderful stuff, absolutely brilliant face powder. It gives you a lovely glow, even on the worst hung-over days.
10. A brown eye pencil from Turkey, nice and soft.
11. A lip brush – essential for delving out the last of your favourite lipstick.
12. Rimmel liquid eyeliner in brown – redheads should never wear black, yecuk.
13. Ruby and Mille eyeshadow brush – somewhat battered.
14. Grey liquid eyeliner, dunno the make, I have it so long.
15. Benefit Boing Boing concealer – excellent stuff

"I normally always carry my little box of Realness of Concealness from Benefit which is an amazing wee box and a handbag essential. But I forgot it today" she also tells us. The crab - what does he think? He reckons that there is no way someone with that amount of Benefit slap wouldn't pass muster and he applauds Red Mum on her taste. Hurrah!
