Splashout - one of BTs regular beauty brouhahas - kicks off tomorrow, and this year, we've been noticing a couple of interesting things about it. One is the face of the event, model L'Or. It's incredibly refreshing to see a black face used as the face of any campaign, and quite apart from how well this season's brights work on her, check out those gunas (info on the what and why is after the cut).
The second point of note is that this time round, there are also a couple of extras in it for you lot: in addition the horde of international make-up pros who'll be on hand to demo trends for face, nails and body, Brown Thomas are offering a €25 gift card (redeemable on all new seasons merchandise in mens and womens fashions, accessories, sunglasses, shoes, jewellery, lingerie, swimwear and BT kids), when you spend €75 on beauty products. And I don't have to tell you lot how easy that is, do I? It's valid till March 29th, so if you get your paws on it, spend it quick.
