A 105-year-old woman's birthday wish for hot firemen to come to her rescue came true

If you get to 105, you'd want to be getting whatever you damn well please when your birthday rolls around.

Ivy Smailes from Crawcrook celebrated her 105th birthday recently and ticked one big item off her bucket list by getting the fine men from Tyne and Wear Fire and Rescue Service to climb through her window and present her with her cake while singing 'Happy Birthday'.

Now we just have to sit back and wait to see what she wishes for next year. If we were her, we'd go big because who's going to say no to a 106-year-old woman?
