Four fab eateries for a healthy & delicious lunchtime

Four fab eateries for a healthy & delicious lunchtime

Hi, Beauties! I’m writing this while hungry, so food is on my mind and will soon be in my belly, I hope. After writing about some of my favourite healthy spots before, I got some recommendations from Beaut.ie readers and have tried them out.

  • Counter Culture, Top Floor Powerscourt Centre

This is a new favourite and has featured a lot in my Instagrams recently. These guys focus on quality and nutrition and they change the menu every few weeks which I love. There’s a brilliant choice of healthy, filling options like five egg omelettes (I usually just ask for three eggs), baked stuffed avocados and lovely salads. The juice and protein shake selection is great too. It can get really busy here at lunchtime and weekends but once you’ve a table, you are never rushed. And the good news is I have lunch for two to give away for Counter Culture! To enter, pop over to my Insta and comment on this photo to be in with a chance of winning.

  • Alchemy, BT2 Grafton Street

With a variety of pre-packed salads to pick from, these can be whisked back to the office or eaten in-store. The view from their window is perfect for people watching so I usually eat in. My most recent choice was a beef crack kale salad that was very tasty. The menu includes bullet-proof coffee which I treat myself to occasionally (it’s expensive!). Honestly, the healthy treats here are not my favourite, so I usually just opt for salad and a drink.

  • Tolteca, various locations

Yes, I eat burritos. Tolteca is tasty and healthy and there are stores in Dublin and Galway; hopefully, they’ll expand even more. Sometimes I go for a wrap-less meal and order a burrito bowl instead, still delicious, though.

  • Bell and Pot, 3 Mercer Street Lower

The menu details calories and “healing benefits”. The choice here is great and really good value. When I go here with my gym buddy, we order one Cajun Chicken energy salad and one sweet potato immune boost salad and we split them between us. The danger here is we sit on the couches, get talking and forget to leave for ages!

Let me know if there are any other healthy eateries you all like. I’m delighted that work and adventures are taking me out of Dublin more and more, so I’d love to hear about your favourites country-wide. Don’t forget to enter the lunch give away too, the competition closes on Thursday 18th February.

Until next week,

Fiona
