I told you about Une, Bourjois' new brand, back in May, and this is the week it launches in Ireland. Une's a naturally-focused line that marries Ecocert-certification (a significant number of products bear the stamp) as well as y'know, the functionality, usability, packaging and sheer squee-I-want-to-use-it factor of its chemical-tastic counterparts.
I love chemical-tastic products by the by, but it's very nice to have an affordable line out there which has an eco-consciousness that's actually one I'd pick myself and not feel hard done by having to use. And from what I've tested and trialled so far there's a lot to like about this range: there are 25 products and 148 shades in total available, mostly edging towards the subtle, natural edge of the spectrum. Textures tend to the sheer, in keeping with the do-it-naturally ethos, and stand-outs for me so far are the Lip-Toned Colour lipstick and Breezy Cheeks blusher - reviews coming next week.
