The Cast of Gilmore Girls Have Reunited & They're Lookin' Well

It's been eight years since we saw the last of the Gilmore Girls on our screens (unless of course you watched the daily re-reruns that seemed to go on for years on E4), now at last the cast have reunited, at the ATX Television Festival in Austin, Texas over the weekend.

And pretty much everyone was there, including Lauren Graham (Lorelai), Alexis Bledel (Rory), Scott Patterson (Luke), Matt Czuchry (Logan, and currently starring in The Good Wife), as well as Jared Padalecki... also star of Supernatural), Kelly Bishop (Emily Gilmore) and loads more faces you will recognise from around Stars Hollow.

Sadly no Melissa McCarthy though, who of course played Sookie, but she is a pretty busy lady these days and was probably busy promoting her new movie Spy. While Edward Herrman, who played Richard Gilmore, sadly passed away at the start of this year.

The cast all got involved in a panel Q & A where they answered some burning questions of the fans, one of course being whether Luke and Lorelai ultimately got married, to which Lauren Graham responded, "I think they did."

Us too, Lauren

And inevitably, the big question of the moment about whether or not there would be a movie. Scott Patterson had caused some speculation about this a few weeks ago, and although he reportedly did seem apologetic for causing such a a fuss, he did say' “It’s kinda time, don’t you think?” While writer of the Gilmore Girls Sherman-Palladino said: “There’s nothing in the works at the moment. Here’s the good thing: Nobody here hates each other. It would have to be the right everything—the right format, the right timing, it would have to be honored in a certain way. And if it ever came around, we would all jump in and do it. And if it ever happened, I promise you I’d do it correctly.”

Entertainment Weekly sponsored the event, so you can catch the rest of the interview over there.
