‘Twas a short week, with the lovely Bank Holiday Monday, so we’re doing a Top 5 for Commenty Central this week. Now - don’t be getting all competitive ladies, it’s just for fun!

Gemma was a new entry to Commenty Central at No. 3 with her teenage makeup reminiscing, on the college beauty bag post: “Mine was 17 from Boots blue cream eyeshadow which came in a squeezy tube, sometimes smeared up to my eyebrows! Also had some horrendous RED Rimmel eyeshadow my mum gave me. And then there was crusty old concealer used on one too many spots!” A pretty picture indeed, Gemma.

2. Maudy Mac’s ‘Fat Hair’ inspired rhyme on Tuesday's post on Kerastase's new Oleo Slim range put her straight in at No. 2:

Top of the Beaut.ie hit-parade this week, though, was this one from Ivicia, for its sheer randomness and also the concerned comments it inspired on the Blather – I don’t think she was serious, folks! “I’m looking forward to the programme about the crystal meth addicts. If I was allowed to try a class A drug with a guarantee I would not become an addict that would be my drug I’d try. I would love to see what all the fuss is about.”
