As it turns out, she doesn't take herself that seriously at all. Behold Beyoncé jumping out of a box on Christmas morning. She's come prepped for New Years and everything.

Ah, she'd be great craic down in the local on Christmas Eve. And she wouldn't make a holy show of herself at midnight mass either.
