The devastation of finding out you're getting a baby brother
I don't want to embarrass him so I won't divulge too much, but when we were kids, my twin sister and I would have much preferred to have a little mini us to play with. That's why we called our brother Clara and dressed him up in girls' clothes.
He was also Beth (after the unfortunate March sister) and Mary-Lou (the meek Malory Towers character). And he was also our pet puppy when the fancy took us, but that's another character building story for another day.
These two little girls were sat down to be told the gender of their new sibling in a very cute way - the colour of the centre of their cupcakes would reveal if the baby is a boy or girl.
