Watch: Maverick weather reporter Martin King's first ever forecast for TV3

Yes, we used the word 'maverick'. And we regret nothing. The whole nation knows that eighteen years ago, Martin King brought the rock n'roll to weather forecasting in Ireland. Sure, these days we might have Jean Byrne and her fancy rig-outs, but we all know Martin King was really the one who put the weather on the, eh, map.

To celebrate TV3's 18th birthday, The Seven O'Clock Show, which King hosts alongside Lucy Kennedy, have released this throwback video of his inaugural weather forecast on the channel.
