The Great British Bake Off will be moving to a new home over on Channel 4 next year meaning the show has lost its hosts Mel and Sue, as well as judge Mary Berry. There have been rumours galore as to who could possibly fill their shoes, but we actually think this latest one would be a great shout.

According to The Mirror, Gogglebox star and recent Queen of the Jungle Scarlett Moffatt is in the running to get the gig as Channel 4 think she would be the perfect fit.

A source said: "Scarlett is now a serious contender – she opened a lot of eyes to her potential on I’m a Celebrity.

"She is young, very funny and just the type of presenter Channel 4 are looking for to front their version of the show. Scarlett may be inexperienced but the thinking is she could be paired with a more senior co-host."

Scarlett is already said to be quitting her day job with Capital FM to pursue a career in television, and this would undoubtedly be an opportunity of a lifetime.

Nothing is confirmed yet but Scarlett definitely has our vote.
