How to dazzle at your Debs with Aimee Connolly

Most of us will remember our debs.

Brought to you by

It’s the first time we really get dressed up, having finally finished secondary school and getting ready to enter the world of adulthood. It is a big occasion in most people’s lives and feeling like you look your best is so important.

Faye Morgan can relate to this. She will be attending her debs next year and she’s already planning how she wants to look. From what dress she will be wearing to what her makeup will look like; no detail will be left overlooked.

Faye was so excited to take part in The Beauty Insider series with Boots and get some inspiration for her debs look. Makeup artist Aimee Connolly completely understood what she wanted.

Seeing as it was a formal occasion, Aimee went for slightly heavier eye make up than what would be used for an everyday look. She created a natural smokey eye effect using Too Faced Natural Eye Shadow Palette.

As Faye was thinking of wearing a pink dress, Aimee applied a bold pink lip to coordinate with her dress choice. She also recommended setting the face using Florence by Mills Zero Chill Face Mist to ensure her makeup will last all night long.  Faye was completely taken aback by her new look, her debs vision finally having been brought to life.

Watch the video below to see how Aimee created this amazing Debs look from start to finish.
