Irish sisters' recording for Easter 1916 is a fitting tribute

When sisters Deirdre and Amie recorded their version of Dawning of the Day for the weekend that was in it, little did they know what an impact it would have.

After being viewed over 2000 times, the gorgeous rendition is putting lumps in throats nationwide.

No big hoopla, or bells and whistles, but we think it suits the mood of the country at the moment quite perfectly.
