Fans of US sitcoms About a Boy and Marry Me, will be sad to hear that NBC have decided to cancel both shows. The latter of which has been showing on RTE on Tuesday nights and hasn't even made it passed its first season.
Marry Me looked like it had a promising start with Happy Endings creator David Caspe on board, and a cast vaguely familiar enough (Casey Wilson and Ken Marino), although it never really got off the ground.
While About a Boy, which was a TV adaptation of the Hugh Grant film, even had Minnie Driver on board, but still hasn't made it past its second season.

These days there is always the hope streaming services like Hulu or Amazon would pick them up, but then saying that, maybe these shows are better off just fading away into sitcom heaven.
