Hamilton Everyday Face SPF30

As part of my new 'hell for leather' (see what I did there?) anti ageing routine I have been trying out many many products. The first thing I had to do was seriously up my SPF protection during the day.

A lot of products have an SPF of 15 but I was advised to go higher then this for the best protection against the sun. Even in the winter I queried? Yes indeed I was told. Now, during the summer I wear Clinique Super City Block SPF40 under my makeup - but I can't wear it anywhere near my eyes. They water and sting and get really sore and sensitive.

That's the thing with high SPF products - by their very nature they have to contain chemicals that irritate a lot of people. I wouldn't consider myself to have particularly sensitive skin but this puts me off high SPF products.

As a result, I was very pleased to discover Hamilton everyday face. It's a matte finish moisturising cream with broad spectrum sunscreen and SPF 30. Apply daily to prevent premature ageing and wrinkling of face and neck. Ideally suited for those with a history of sensitivity to sunscreens or other skincare products. Suitable for normal, combination or acne prone skin.

It doesn't irritate my eyes, it leaves my skin moisturised and supple. Makeup goes on well over it.

One gripe though - it does tend to peel back or ball up on your face which is SO annoying. Apart from that, it's a firm favourite, I'll be buying it again.
