Goggleboxers and More On Tonight's Late Late Show

Goggleboxers and More On Tonight's Late Late Show

Another Friday, another Late Late Show, and a November Late Late Show at that. How time flies, feels like only yesterday the audience was taken over by rambunctious singletons on Valentines Day.

Anyways, back to the show at hand and who Ryan will be chatting to tonight. First up was going to be Web Summit founder and CEO Paddy Cosgrave, to clear up once and for all why the Web Summit was moving to Lisbon for three years. However, as of this morning, he cancelled, which isn't altogether too surprising. If you saw Sharon Ni Bheolain interviewing fellow co-founder Daire Hickey on Six One you would have got the full extent of what a prickly matter this is.

So who will replace him? We're sure there's a Fair City cast member or the like happy to oblige, but in the mean time, here's who will actually be on the show tonight...

Have to say, we're pretty delighted about this one, Gogglebox stars Steph and Dom will be on! They will be chatting to Ryan about their new found fame from the series, which has included their own spin-off special, and giving their guide to life, love, booze and all things Steph and Dom.

After that then we have the usual mix, of debate, inspirational story and of course the token comedian....

The debate will centre around housing, looking at why it’s more difficult than ever to get your foot on the property ladder and ask if building houses is really the answer. The panel will feature the Construction Industry Federation’s Tom Parlon to put the case for more building and Conor Skehan from the Housing Agency who will be arguing that we should be making better use of the housing stock already available. The audience will feature renters personal stories from those directly affected.

This inspirational story then comes from Clare woman Áine Mae O’Mahony, who will speak about her fight to rebuild her life after losing her eye-sight at the age of just 26, which is pretty inspiring in fairness.

While the comedy will be provided by Des Bishop, who is back from New York and will drop in for a catch up with Ryan

So there you have it, a formulaic enough Late Late Show but sure who knows what could happen yet.

The Late Late Show, Friday at 9.35pm on RTÉ One.
