Garcon! Womenswear Takes Inspiration From The Boys

We were checking out the Bafta fashion yesterday and Angelina's androgynous suit was dividing opinion. Was it sexy and streamlined or just lazy and lacking?

The garçon trend is certainly making its mark in womenswear. London Fashion Week showed some strong masculine looks with Joseph, Christopher Kane and critics' darling Preen all sending a tomboy vibe sauntering down the catwalk. And Agyness Deyn is launching her own fashion line called Title A that draws heavily on her own boyish style.

This look is about strong lines, good cuts and glamourous tomboy pieces; it's not about scruffy or grungy shapeless fashion. So we took ourselves off to find the best pieces on the high street to help channel your inner tough guy.
