The Best Dressed: Golden Globes 2018

The Best Dressed: Golden Globes 2018
By Miriam Burke  | Jan 8, 2018

Proving that black really is the most versatile shade to work with were the women of the Golden Globes red carpet 2018

When the women of Hollywood decided to wear black to the Golden Globes this year, I prepared myself for the most boring red carpet ever. While I 100% agree with the #TimesUp campaign and would have certainly worn black if I had gone along, everyone wearing the same non-colour could a blah red carpet make. Instead, it forced the celebs and the stars to get their creative juices on.

In the sea of black, some stars were the buoys.

Kerry Washington wore Prabal Gurung and slayed in those shoes. Also, if you look closely, you can see that she put her pop of colour on her face. And - even cooler - it happens to be Ultra Violet, Pantone's Colour of the Year.
