Product of the Week: NARS Natural Radiant Long Wear Foundation

When a new foundation lands on Beauty Ed Aisling's desk, it's always an exciting day. The new NARS Natural Radiant Long Wear Foundation has the entire office excited

The idea of having perfect skin for me has always been just that - an idea. So, when a new foundation comes out, I always get a little excited. It's the aspiration of having flawless skin becoming a reality just from a tiny little bottle. There is no price I can put on such a precious gift. The thing is finding the perfect balance of coverage, texture, colour, wearability, and feeling is extremely difficult.

I have always been a huge advocate and wearer of NARS' Sheer Glow foundation. What I love most about it is the coverage, yet unlike other similar cult favourite full-coverage foundations like MAC's Fix Fluid and Estee Lauder's Double Wear, Sheer Glow didn't quite last as long. But, the finish on the foundation was just that bit nicer than the other two as it gave a lovely satin finish, so it isn't dry or cakey looking.

You will be happy to know that NARS has just come up with a solution to the short-wear problem with this absolute beauty of a foundation.

NARS Natural Radiant Long Wear Foundation €45

This is most definitely a full coverage foundation, which personally I love. The buildable formula goes on really smoothly and leaves your skin looking radiant and fresh, not dry and chalky. It doesn't feel like you are wearing a really heavy foundation but at the same time, its new formula gives the foundation 16-hour fade resistance which I can honestly assure that it keeps your foundation looking as if you have just applied it all day long.

16-hour fade resistant wear, a radiant finish, a weightless feel AND it comes in a whopping 33 shades.

This one really ticks all the boxes, and I'm not the only convert. Both Miriam and I wore the foundation to our Beautie Summit: Be More You event and have been wearing it every day since.
