Skincare keeps getting weirder. We've had skincare from placenta, and now I read that Gwynneth Paltrow uses products made from snake venom to keep her skin looking young. Yup, she goes to the exclusive Sonya Dakar salon in LA to have treatments which use Ultra Luxe 9 products, containing the hissy stuff.
So what's so hot about snake venom? Apparently the range is an anti-aging suite of products and the inclusion of Syn-Ake is the key ingredient, according to nymag.com. They asked Sonya Dakar's daughter how it workd and she told them that “it blocks the neurotransmitters that tell muscles to contract, but obviously not on a level where you are completely paralyzed".
