Here Comes Christmas: Guerlain's Gorgeous Collection Imperiale

Oh yum. Talk about saving the best for last? Ok, I do have a few more Christmas collections to roll out for you all yet but this is a very special one indeed. It's Guerlain's Collection Imperiale and it's predictably g-g-g-gorgeous.

Natalia Vodianova is the face again and you can see some of the products above: bottom left is the Imperial Eyes quad shadow, €52. It's joined by three lace-decorated KissKiss Glosses, €26 each. Above you can see Rubis Rose and Ambre Precieuse, there's also Perle de Lune. So pretty. To the top is the gadget-tastic Rouge G de Guerlain, a whizz-bang gadget that combines a fab opening mechanism with, of course, a really nice lipstick. This Christmas it comes in two new shades, grace and gems, and each will set you back €40 - worth it for the packaging alone, if you ask me.

But but but I hear you ask - where are the Meteorites!? Aha - you'll have to check after the cut!

Here they are! Always a staple of the Christmas collection, this year's Meteorites compact is a stunna - and at €150, it'd want to be, eh? The case is made from Zamac, apparently. Off to Wikipedia went I: Zamac is an alloy created from, sensibly, zinc, aluminum, magnesium and copper. Right so! Black Swarovski crystals adorn the top and the actual powder is as gorgeous as ever. It's joined by Meteorites Perles Imperiales, over there on the right. This is a card case and is a lot cheaper at €46, but gives the same result. Really, which you choose depends on your preference, oh, and credit card balance.

There's just one more thing to show:

This is divine: it's Eclat Imperial, and it's a golden finishing powder in an old-fashioned perfume atomiser-alike bottle. Need I say more? Nope, didn't think so. All there's to add really is price: this baby is €70.

All products are on counter now at Guerlain counters nationwide.
