RIP Patrick Swayze & Homage to Bouffants

He didn't put baby in a corner, he was fond of appearing from beyond the grave to throw a few auld pots and he was Pony Boy's big bro in one of my favourite films of all time, the Outsiders.

But there was something beyond playing wrong-side-of-the-tracks dancer Johnny Castle in Dirty Dancing that set Patrick Swayze apart: his hair. Teased, tousled and bouffanted to perfection, I've no doubt there was a lot of product lurve going on there.

Pomade, Bryclream and hairspray, I'd lay bets he had a bathroom cabinet that was chocka with stuff -  cos there's no way his hair defied gravity over the decades without it. And sure that's something we can get down with at Beaut.ie, eh?

So, RIP Patrick Swayze and your magnificent barnet: we'll miss you.
