Kate Middleton wears Irish brand Dubarry on royal engagement

Today, Kate Middleton wore the most country-chic outfit that ever was, including a Dubarry jacket, of course.

No gentlewoman should be without a jacket by Irish brand Dubarry. The label has a deserved reputation for high-quality and stylish outdoor clothing suitable for grouse shooting and general walking through fields-type activities. Kate Middleton is, therefore, the perfect model.

This isn't the first time we've admired Kate's country style. Back in 2017, she wore a Barbour jacket that we subsequently got. See the look (that stands up in 2019; the beauty of country chic) here.

The Duchess was on a royal engagement, her first this year, to King Henry's Walk Garden in Islington, London, to visit a cute sounding project that aims to unite people through gardening. She made pizzas outside with kids in the community garden, all while changing people's minds about whether sturdy walking boots are a good sartorial idea. (They most certainly are.)

The Dubarry jacket is €479, an investment piece for sure, but it would definitely have a permanent place in your wardrobe. But you have to wear it every time you're in the countryside. So, if you already live there, that's every day. Very good value for money in that case.

It's the most 'casual' Kate has dressed in a while, despite the blowdry, which is perfectly swishy as usual. What do you think of the look? Would you invest in a jacket like this one in the name of country style? How about her Barbour jacket. Do you prefer something like that?
