Amy Schumer's nethers are on fire for Vanity Fair photo shoot

It's only Amy with her pants literally on fire!

As part of her Vanity Fair photo shoot, Annie Leibovitz set Amy Schumer's pants alight, and these are the results courtesy of the latter's Instagram... Judging by the caption, it was all Amy's idea: "Thank you @vanityfair and Annie Leibovitz who I had to beg to take this shot."

Expanding on that, Schumer says in the full interview: "I begged Annie to photograph me with no underwear on in just a t-shirt. I explained to her how important it was to me and she finally agreed. I felt powerful and beautiful. She understood once we shot it. Or maybe she ran to the bathroom to throw up. It was one of the most meaningful moments of my life."

As to why Schumer desperately wanted this photo; unfortunately she didn't elaborate further. If anyone has any theories of their own, please do share!

Along with the cover, Amy also posted the below image from the shoot to her Instagram, captioned "Woops wrong photo. Here I am!"
