The Silver Fox HimselfMichael Douglas, star of one of my favorite movies of all time, Fatal Attraction, recently revealed his throat cancer was caused by the sexually transmitted disease HPV.
...without wanting to get too specific, this particular cancer is caused by HPV [human papillomavirus], which actually comes about from cunnilingus.
So far, so accurate. HPV is widely known as a cause of cervical cancer in women, and it's also a cause of anal and oral cancers. It's an extremely common STI, and if it's found in the mouth, it's usually there as a result of oral sex. I for one think it's great HPV is getting so much press, hats off to Michael for being so frank!

Ok Michael, I'm not sure where you're getting your medical information, but it's wildly inaccurate! I don't to put a downer on going down, but it ain't no cure for cancer.
