Philip B (on the left there - swit swoo, wha?) is a bit of an auld legend in haircare terms - he's worked extensively in the entertainment industry in LA - in other words, with all de stars - yet his products aren't fluffy, shiny stuff that just add gloss or volume with no actual haircare going on.

Nope, Philip's main concern is stress and damage caused to hair as a result of pollution and city life. As increasing numbers of Irish people now live in cities, we are noticing a difference in our hair. Hence the endless parade of products that have come through my bathroom - frizz easing, glossing, smoothing - oh, I've been there.

But the lovely Philip offers us succor in the form of his range of treatments, such as his yum sounding White Truffle Nourishing Hair Conditioning Creme, which is, according to the SpaceNK website "a rich, reparative nourishing cream for hair in need of intense hydration and repair. Specifically designed for parched, dry, coloured and chemically- treated hair, it restores moisture levels without weighing hair down, whilst injecting body and bounce to the hair. White Truffle Oil from Italy repairs and hydrates each strand, leaving a soft, silky sheen on even the driest of hair".

I MUST OWN THIS PRODUCT. And I think I shall! There's a drawback (oh, isn't there always?) in that it's €58 from Nue Blue Eriu (£50stg from SpaceNK, fact fans, so buy from NBE) - kinda steep, until you rationalise it. I'd pay that (and probably more) to have a glossing treatment done in a salon and that would only be a temporary solution.

So, if your gruaig is gammy and you've a few quid to splurge with, it might well be worth a go.
